FAQ

How does Scarlet & Rose leotard rental work?
Our  leotard rental service allows you to hire elite, competition-ready leotards without the high upfront cost. Simply choose leotard and size, select your dates, and we’ll deliver it in perfect condition to your door. After the competition, simply return to us fuss free.

Why rent an acro leotard instead of buying one?
Our leotards can cost between £550 and £600 to make.  This is because each one is carefully designed, handmade with intricate applique with premium materials.  Each leotard has over 4,000 high quality glass DMC rhinestones. Renting allows gymnasts to wear a standout, luxury leotard for competitions without the full investment—ideal for fast-growing athletes or one-off events.

How long can I rent a Scarlet and Rose leotard for?
At Scarlet and Rose we offer weekend rental.  Your leotards will be delivered to you Thursday ready for your competition.  We ask that you return your leotard on Monday by next day special delivery.  This allows us to professionally clean the leotards ready for hire the following weekend.

Are your leotards suitable for competitions?
Yes—our leotards are designed specifically for competition. Each piece is fully lined, features premium fabrics, and includes thousands of hand-applied rhinestones to ensure maximum impact on the floor.

Are your leotards one-of-a-kind?
All of our leotards are bespoke, designed in house and hand crafted by our specially selected partners.  This ensures your gymnast stands out with a unique, high-end look rather than wearing widely available designs.

How many rhinestones are on your leotards?
Our premium leotards feature over 4,000 high-quality DMC glass rhinestones, carefully hand-applied to create exceptional sparkle under competition lighting.  The maximum rhinestone size does not exceed 10mm.

Are the leotards lined and competition-ready?
Yes, all leotards are fully lined for comfort, coverage, and performance. They are designed to meet the demands of competitive gymnastics.

How do I choose the right size?
Each product includes a detailed sizing guide. We recommend measuring your gymnast carefully and comparing against our chart to ensure the best fit for competition performance.

Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes, we offer reliable UK-wide delivery. Your leotard will arrive well in advance of your competition to allow time for fitting and preparation.

When should I book a leotard?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak competition season, as our most popular designs are reserved quickly.

Are leotards cleaned between rentals?
Absolutely. Every leotard is professionally cleaned and carefully inspected after each use to ensure it arrives in pristine, competition-ready condition.

What happens if the leotard gets damaged?
We understand that acrobatic gymnastics is a high-performance sport. Minor wear is expected, but significant damage may incur a repair or replacement fee. Full details are provided in our rental terms.

Can I buy the leotard instead of renting it?
Not currently. If you fall in love with a design, you may have the option to buy it outright depending on age and condition.  Contact us directly at hello@scarletandrose.com to enquire.

How much does a competition leotard cost to buy?
Our leotards typically retail from £550+, reflecting the craftsmanship, premium materials, and extensive hand-applied embellishment.

Can I reserve a leotard for future competitions?
Yes, you can secure your preferred design in advance by booking early. This is especially  ecommended for key competitions and peak season events.  We allow booking up to a year in advance

What makes your leotards different from others?
Our leotards are created for gymnasts who want to make an impression the moment they step onto the floor. Each piece is crafted using premium fabrics, fully lined for comfort, and finished with thousands of hand-applied DMC rhinestones. All designs are bespoke or produced in limited numbers, ensuring a truly distinctive competition look.
